Meet our founders
Nick Williamson
As CEO of Mirror, Nick provides strategic oversight to Mirror's product and technology.
Nick has a career spanning everything from Fintech for Hedge Funds, to Playing Professional Poker. He previously led the Product & Operations of Ring Games for PokerStars, the largest global real-money online poker product.
Nick has since become a major contributor to numerous open-source projects, and has founded multiple tech companies, including Credits, Qadre, and Mirror.
His groundbreaking technical work has earned him awards and an invitation to be the first blockchain technology provider in the UK Government’s G-Cloud Marketplace.
Laura Bailey
As the Chair of Mirror, Laura provides operational and corporate governance for Mirror.
Over the past decade, Laura has used her extensive background in corporate governance and traditional finance to facilitate technical innovation within the fintech world.
Laura has been a trail-blazer in the blockchain space, having established several of the first non-cryptocurrency led startups in the space and held a position on the board of techUK for several years.
She has been a critical player in maturing the blockchain landscape, working with governments and regulators to establish standards and having acted as Spokesperson for the British Blockchain Association.
As CCO of Mirror, Imogen provides strategic oversight to Mirror’s customer success, growth, and marketing activities.
Following a career in venture capital and innovation consultancy, Imogen moved into project managing the earliest enterprise-led blockchain laboratories to explore its efficacy outside of cryptocurrency.
This inspired her to establish a number of businesses that used nascent technologies to reengineer the inefficient processes that exist in modern finance, compliance, healthcare, logistics, and humanitarian aid.
She has also provided counsel to multiple governments and regulators to facilitate the secure and considered adoption of emerging technologies.
